A cool vintage original London Transport bus blind made around the 1960s which lists stops Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Marble Arch. These bus blinds look great in any style of period interiors and would have originally been used for signage on London Buses.
The blind is made of paper and canvas fabric backing. It has been mounted using solid wood brackets ebonised in black and fixed using solid brass screws. There is a piece of black and white cotton twine used to hang the blind on the wall. There are some signs of wear and tear (please see pictures) but we feel that this does not detract from its beauty and add to it charm and all blinds are stable as backed on canvas.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
